No Election Needed for Districts 1 and 2 Board Seats

The Midstate Communications district elections scheduled for July 16 have been cancelled. Only one petition was filed for each open board position, which means no election is needed for Districts 1 and 2.Incumbents Dave Lehr, District 1 representative, and Robert Holleman, District 2 representative, were the only candidates to successfully file petitions for their respective board seats. Because they are the only candidates, both will be reappointed to three-year terms on the Midstate Communications Board of Directors at the October Annual Meeting of Members.
District 1 represents the communities of Fort Thompson, Gann Valley, and Kimball.
District 2 represents Delmont, New Holland, Stickney, and White Lake.
