The best way to prevent your password from falling into the wrong hands is to set up a second password factor when entering your social media, banking websites, or another password-protected site.
How two-factor authentication works is that once you enter your password to a particular website, you can have the option to receive a one-time code on your cell phone from a text message, an email, or even a phone call can call you with your private code. Once you type in this second password, you can access your site. This is two-factor authentication. It is the process of having two secure passwords to get into your private accounts.
