This Summer once again Midstate will be taking our show on the road for our annual Customer Appreciation Cook-outs. The cook-outs are always a fun time and an opportunity to interact with our customers face-to-face and say thank you for your support. We hope you will make plans to join us for a FREE customer appreciation cookout. We invite you to bring your family and friends and enjoy the fun as Midstate will provide the food and beverages along with door prizes and free giveaways.
Since the inception of phone service, the U.S. government has held the belief that all Americans should have access to a reliable communication infrastructure and services. However, in rural and sparsely populated areas, the cost to provide service was extremely high since the areas do not provide large enough customer bases for the companies to recover the cost in the same manner that companies in highly populated places would.
Active members of the Midstate Communications Cooperative living in either District One or District Two may pick up a nomination petition at the Midstate office in Kimball or Chamberlain. Petitions must be filed at the headquarters office in Kimball on or before June 14, 2017. Ballots will be mailed to members in those districts in which two or members from that District successfully file a petition. Ballots must be returned to the Midstate office by July 14, 2017.

Since Microsoft released the new Windows 10 update to the masses of users who are currently using Windows 7 or 8.1, it seems as though it has caused equal amount of harm as it has goodwill. Microsoft is allowing customers using Windows 7 & 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 free of charge until July 29, 2016.
Midstate Communications is excited to welcome Terry Bush to our staff. We look forward to having Terry's technical and IT expertise as part of our workforce. With the ever changing world of computers and technology Terry's role will be ever evolving to not only meet Midstate's internal needs of network and server maintenance but also providing PC support for our employees.
The new Viceland Channel will replace H2 on all service providers’ lineups. Viceland can be viewed on Channel #184 on Midstate’s Digital Choice Lineup. While the H2 network is going away, the very best signature H2 programming can now be found on History Channel (channel #177).
Individuals interested in running for a position on the Midstate Communications Board of Directors are encouraged to request a nomination form from the Midstate offices. District elections are scheduled to be held in the two district exchanges of Chamberlain/Oacoma and Ft. Thompson/Gann Valley this July.
