Chad has been a part of SDN’s board since 2022 and has consistently brought a strong voice for rural connectivity to the table. His election to this new role reflects his dedication not only to Midstate, but also to broadband progress across the region.
SDN Communications is made up of 17 independent broadband companies—including Midstate—that collectively serve more than 90% of South Dakota’s geography. With a fiber-optic network spanning more than 50,000 miles across eight states, SDN plays a vital role in supporting businesses and organizations with reliable, high-speed services.
Under Chad’s leadership, Midstate Communications continues to advocate for better access, stronger networks, and top-tier service in rural communities. We’re proud of the work being done—and even prouder to see Chad helping shape the future of telecommunications in our state.
