Keyboard Shortcuts

 – By

Keyboard shortcuts are keys or combination of keys that you may normally perform the action with your mouse. Down at the bottom left of your keyboard is the Windows Key.  How often do you use that key?

Let's look at a few keyboard tips that you can use when using your Windows computer.

To quickly look at two windows side by side on a Windows computer, select a window and press the Windows key on your keyboard along with the left arrow key to "snap" it to the left side of your screen.  You can snap a different window to the other half of the screen by selecting the window and pressing the Windows Key and the right arrow.

Bonus Tips
Windows key + V = Show clipboard history
Windows key + D = Display and hide the desktop
Windows key + E = Open file explorer
Windows key + P = Display projector settings
Windows key + M = Minimize all windows
Windows key + I = Open settings
Windows key + S = Open search

There are plenty of other keyboard tips and tricks using the Ctrl and Alt keys.  We will look at those in a different "tech tip".
