Midstate Welcomes Travis Gant to the Board of Directors

Midstate Communications is pleased to welcome Travis Gant to our Board of Directors.
Travis was appointed during the August 24th board meeting to fill the position left following the passing of longtime board member and President Bob Creasey. Travis will serve in this position through October 1, 2027.
A familiar face in the area, Travis works as a Crop Insurance Agent with BankWest Insurance, serving the Geddes, Armour, Tripp and Delmont areas. He also operates his family farm west of Geddes with his dad and owns and operates a pheasant hunting business during the fall and winter months.
When asked what impact he hopes to make during his time on the board, Travis shared that he wants to continue bringing the common-sense thinking that Bobby provided while helping Midstate protect long-term value over short-term optics. He also wants to make sure Midstate continues serving the best interests of the small communities that rely on the cooperative.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys hunting and fishing, follows sports, plays amateur baseball and is an avid poker player. He and his fiancé, Jes, are raising two children, Taylee and Truett.
