Foundation for Rural Services Scholarship
Since 1994, the Foundation for Rural Service, FRS, has worked to help as many people and communities across the nation as possible. We believe that the future of our rural communities is intrinsically linked to the future of our nation as a whole.
The foundation annually awards scholarships to an exceptional group of rural students for their first year of college or vocational school. All applicants require sponsorship by an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be eligible. Since its inception, FRS has awarded over $1 million in scholarships, empowering rural students throughout the country to advance their communities with invaluable skill sets and experiences.
The value of the scholarships ranges from $500-$7,000, based on a variety of criteria.
One application qualifies a student for all available FRS scholarships.
SDTA Scholarship
The South Dakota Telecommunications Association (SDTA) awards scholarships annually.
