All major networks and cable TV networks available on our digital Midstate TV lineup are also available on our Midstate X-Stream lineup Channel Guide.

Amazon Fire TV

From the Home Screen, use the remote to highlight and expand the Midstate X-Stream icon and press the center of the remote.  This action will open your on-screen Program Guide.

Roku TV

While watching Midstate X-Stream TV, the guide is accessed by pressing the left arrow key on the remote.  The 'Now Playing' information will be displayed. By pressing the up/down arrows, the information on other channels will be displayed. To see the entire guide, press the 'Back' button on the remote and choose the guide option.

Apple TV

From the Home Screen, using the Touch surface, highlight the Midstate X-Stream icon and press the center of the Touch surface to open your channel guide.

Keep track of your favorite shows by adding Cloud DVR to your Midstate X-Stream subscriptions. You have two plan options available for recordings:
250 gb = $7.00 monthly
500 gb = $10.00 monthly

Similar to other streaming services, Midstate X-Stream TV has a time-out feature. After 4 hours of continuous streaming, you will receive a pop-up message asking if you are still watching Midstate X-Stream. If so, you simply choose "yes" to continue watching or simply go up or down by changing channels will restart the 4-hour timeout function.

A Midstate X-Stream subscription will come with 2 simultaneous streams. This is the maximum number of streams that can be viewed simultaneously. If you wish to purchase additional streams for your devices contact the Midstate office at 605-778-6221. When moving from devices, exit the Midstate X-Stream application by using the “back” button to reach the home menu. This will release the stream and be available for another device in your home.

Midstate X-Stream will only play on a Midstate Communications fiber optic internet connection with Midstate X-Stream service at that address.

  1. Press the home button on your Fire Stick remote. At the top of the screen scroll to the far right & select "Settings"
  2. Scroll to select "equipment control"
  3. Scroll to select "manage equipment"
  4. Select "TV"
  5. Select "Change TV"
  6. Follow on screen instructions
 Roku Remote
  1. Press the home button on the Roku remote.
  2. Scroll up or down and select "Settings"
  3. Select "Remotes & Devices" and then select "Remote"
  4. Select "Set up remote for TV control"
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
